Year 6 Surfing at Tynemouth

Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic day of surfing and beach games. The children participated in a two hour surfing lesson where they learned the correct techniques for moving from lying on the surf board to standing up. All of the children showed resilience and determination throughout. After a lunch spent trying to fend off the greedy seagulls, they made sandcastles, played ball games and buried each other in the sand. What an amazing day out!
