Year 6 Fairtrade Fortnight Assembly

Year Six, as part of their Faith in Action work, led an informative assembly to introduce Fairtrade Fortnight which has the theme Brew It. The children spoke about how the workers in developing countries who grow the tea leaves earn very little money compared to the big companies. Fairtrade ensures that farmers and workers are treated fairly, have a safe working conditions and earn enough money to support their families.
