Year 3 & Year 4 STEM Basketball Workshop

Year 3 and 4 visited the Vertu Motor Arena for a STEM workshop with Chloe, the head coach of the Newcastle Eagles women’s team, learning about how Science, Maths and technology can be used in sport to learn and improve. The children used Maths to record how many shots were scored in a game and even got to go on the court to practice their shooting skills. They also looked at the technology used to design and make basketball shoes.
