Bishop Stephen Visits St Mary's

On Friday 20th June, we were visited by Bishop Stephen, the Bishop of the Diocese of Hexham & Newcastle. He joined us for our whole school Celebration of the Word lead by the children who read prayers and performed a liturgical dance around the theme of Corpus Christi. Bishop Stephen also visited all of the classes and the children got to ask him questions. There were lots of very interesting ones including, what life is like as a bishop; what football team he supports and whether he went to see Sam Fender!
